purchase, and is named for his daughter,
Henrietta

and matters under $3,000 in Small Claims Court, as well as landlord-tenants disputes.

jurisdiction. The Supreme Court is also the primary court for divorce, separation and
annulment proceedings, and criminal prosecution of felonies. The Monroe County Court
and the statewide Supreme Court come under the administration of

Rochester Institute of Technology.
The 1,300-acre campus property is a lush woodland and freshwater swamp that protects
a number of rare and endangered plant species.
Eight miles from downtown Rochester and perfectly situated at the intersections of
Interstate 90 and 390, Henrietta’s
Fair and Expo Center is one of Western New York's largest multi-purpose facilities.
Hosting concerts, conventions, meetings, trade shows, banquets, sporting events and more,
it has helped to put Henrietta on the map as a hub for regional entertainment.
Guiding Student Success is not only a banner slogan but the driving ideology for
The Rush-Henrietta Central
School District. The system of five elementary schools, two middle schools and an
award winning Senior High
School is supplemented by an extraordinary
Ninth Grade Academy
that ensures students' ability to transition to high school and beyond. The
Vollmer Learning Center
houses every type of guidance and assistance a student in difficulty might need. The
Rush-Henrietta concept is a bold step for a system of this size. Residents are rightfully
proud of the work done for their children in Henrietta.
