The 2000 Census counted Livonia's population at just over 7,000.  Contained within the town is the Village of Livonia, which numbered 1,357.  The town covers over forty square miles of lovely rolling hills in the Genesee River Valley.  The Greater Livonia Area includes the nearby towns of Conesus, Lakeville, and the rural village of Hemlock, which has been host to the Hemlock "Little World's" Fair since 1857.  Livonia Area residents look forward to this annual event, which holds truck and tractor pulls, horse shows, a demolition derby and fine food and entertainment.
